We are a club of 16 to 18 Scottish Country Dancers, all retired.  Our teacher is Beatrice Jackson who prepares the programme each week, including reels, jigs and strathspeys.  Our classes run for two 10-week sessions from 1.30 to 3.30 p.m. from October to December then January to March.  The benefits for our members include:

  • Exercise for body and brain
  • An afternoon class so no need to come out on dark evenings
  • A social occasion to enjoy a chat during out half-time break with a cup of tea/coffee and a biscuit.

If you have danced in the past and you are free on Monday afternoons during October to March, we would be delighted to welcome you to our club.  If you are a complete beginner, why not come for a taster and we will do our best to help you become a Scottish Country Dancer.
